Our 11th Annual Gala was a great success! We are pleased beyond words that Jim “Mattress Mac” McIngvale was our Guest Speaker. Not only does Mattress Mac have a beautifully service oriented heart but his family also understands caring for and supporting a child with learning differences. Back by popular demand was Aric Harding, Emcee and Tim Alexander, Auctioneer. A special thank you to all our alumni, family, friends, community, faculty, and staff! It is because of your dedication and hard work that TMA is a success!

The Momentum Academy is an academic and therapeutic learning center that partners with families, to encourage students to realize their full potential, identity, and value. Individualized curriculum is designed specifically for each student and carried out with a low student/teacher ratio. Taking into account the academic, emotional, and spiritual needs of each student, The Momentum Academy views each pupil holistically so as to nurture the whole child.
As the enrollment grows, it is the goal that class sizes remain between 8 and 10 students. Our certified teachers are trained and experienced in instructing students with learning differences. As a result of the teachers’ empathetic, caring and creative approach to instruction, students are able to maximize their potential.
The Momentum Academy believes the potential of all students is often untapped and that by teaching to individual learning styles, building on students' strengths, and remediating areas of weakness, all students will have a solid foundation and the self-esteem to allow them to achieve their loftiest goals.
Our school customizes learning to fit the student. Each student receives whatever type of specialized instruction he or she needs. Our school is particularly appropriate for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, expressive and receptive language disorders, ADHD/ADD, auditory processing disorder, anxiety, and high-functioning autism.
The Momentum Academy plans to offer elementary grades in the future.
We've grown again and needed to find a new location. We are thrilled to be renting space inside of Heritage Park Baptist Church, located at 2732 FM 528, Webster, TX 77598.
